"The front desk staff was very warm & welcoming. Parking was good. The property has a lot of fun history & architecture -- make sure to read about it in the little room off the lobby. And the town/area is so quaint. My husband had to work, so I sat at the bar by myself for dinner & had a wonderful time. The bartender is amazing. Really good at her craft! Food was great. It might be a challenging hotel & restaurant to navigate if one has mobility issues. There is an elevator, but there are are lot of turns & narrow spaces. "

"Good for what/where it is; as one of the locals said: "it's probably the best option in town." Minor quips: • Lack of housekeeping - I wasn't expecting or wanting fresh sheets/towels every day (3 day stay) but a TP restock would've been nice. • Smoke detector light directly above the bed had me feeling like I was about to be abducted by very small aliens. • A/C - this is a personal preference as I like it cold when I go to sleep, but it's February so I get the lack of cooling. Heat worked fine. "

"We needed a place to stay while the movers packed our house to move to PA. On the eve of our stay, a blizzard dropped twenty inches of snow. The cottage was a perfect refuge and Hector the perfect host for what we needed. He made sure the admittedly remote location was plowed and prepped for our stay. Kept in constant contact and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage itself is inviting and clean with well appointed bed, bath, kitchen, and laundry. Highly recommended both the location and the host!"

"Staff was super nice and upfront about the check out time and apologized beforehand for an issue with keycards, so they let me in with the master key. The room itself is in DIRE need of some TLC. Had a musty ofor upon entering. The in room hottub was dirty and visibly needed som repairs. Shower water would not heat up. Toilet seat was crooked. Ceiling had cracks and spots a plenty in the bathroom. Cloor boards were cracked and jutting up, making a tripping hazard. Bed had cigarette burns and mysterious stains. For the emergency residence i needed (incoming blizzard), it was fine but after my night stay i have had a headache all day. Would onyl recommend under emergency situations. "
